Procedures for reporting a lost, stolen or found ECU 1 Card

If you lost your card on the MAIN CAMPUS, please call the main 1 Card Office at 252-328-2673 during regular business hours to report your card lost. Your card will be immediately deactivated. Visit the main 1 Card office in the Old Cafeteria Complex, Room G-521 to replace the card at a cost of $15, cash, check, or Gold Key only.

To report a lost or stolen card on MAIN CAMPUS after hours, contact the ECU Police Department at 252-328-6787 for assistance.

If you lost your card on the MEDICAL CAMPUS, please call 252-744-2261 during regular business hours to report your card lost and information on how to replace your card. Your lost card will be deactivated immediately.

To report a lost or stolen card on the MEDICAL CAMPUS after hours, contact the ECU Police Department at 252-328-6787 for assistance.

If you find a 1 Card, please deliver it to the main ECU 1 Card office located in the Old Cafeteria Complex, Room G-521.

If your card is damaged:

You are responsible for your ECU 1 Card. Please be careful not to damage the card by puncturing it, placing stickers or tape on it, allowing it to get wet, or exposing it to excessive heat. Each card contains a prox chip which allows it to provide a variety of functions now, and in the future. Damaging the card may make it malfunction, and it will need to be replaced at a cost of $15, cash, check or Gold Key only.

Replacement Policy

If you lose your ECU 1 Card, report it immediately. We will issue you a temporary card for a nominal fee, good for one week only. The lost or stolen 1 Card will be deactivated. Please note that we are unable to deter the use of off-line accounts, such as copying. As a result, we strongly recommend that you add money to your 1 Card for copies in $5 or less increments, then add more when needed.

A permanent replacement card is $15, cash, check, or Gold Key only.

Please report any fraudulent use of the ECU 1 Card to the ECU Police, 252-328-6787.
