College of Health and Human Performance

Having entered ECU planning to take the path of a career in veterinarian medicine Donetta Wylie’s plan took a slight change in course.  Born in Manassas, Virginia, Wylie came to ECU to become a cheerleader and veterinarian, but after two years of school and starting a family she took a six-year leave of absence.  During these six years Wylie focused on family, raising children and finding what it was she was passionate about.  Wylie came back to ECU in the fall of 2005 to finish what she started six years prior.
