Brody ranks top 5 for producing family physiciansThe Brody School of Medicine at ECU was ranked among the nation’s top five medical schools again this year for the high percentage of its graduates pursuing careers in family medicine, according to the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Grants prepare providers, enhance care in rural areas
The Department of Family Medicine has landed several large grants this year aimed at enhancing primary health care in rural areas. Collectively totaling $4.5 million, the grants were all awarded to Brody by the Health Resources & Services Administration, the primary federal agency for improving health care for people who are geographically isolated or otherwise economically or medically vulnerable.
Schweitzer Fellows address community health needs
Four students from the Brody School of Medicine are developing projects aimed at positively impacting community health as part of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship program.
