Admitted Student Fridays

Admitted Student Fridays are a great opportunity to visit (or revisit) campus and learn more about your program of interest. These events are specially designed for admitted students only. 

Don't see your area of interest or are undecided? You'll want to attend our main Pirates Aboard! Admitted Student Day event on March 30, 2019. Pirates Aboard! includes sessions for undecided students and a comprehensive array of academic programs and departments will be represented.

Engineering and Technology

Interested in how to be successful in a STEM related career? Want to engage with others in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or Technology related fields? Tomorrow's jobs will require individuals to have the skills and education necessary for these fields. These disciplines will be the catalyst for innovation that can potentially change the world. Do you have the drive to be a part of something that impacts how we live? If so, we invite you to attend this event designed specifically for admitted students. You will attend departmental information sessions, tour our labs and research areas, and meet with faculty and current ECU students to learn more about the exciting opportunities the College of Engineering and Technology can offer. The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. (check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.) and will conclude around 2:30 p.m. Click here to register.

Careers in Medicine

What does every health care professional have in common? They majored in something that didn't begin with pre-! ECU has a long and successful track record of preparing students for careers in the medical field. This event will show you why ECU is a great choice if your ultimate goal involves pursuing a career in medicine or the health care fields. You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and students from the Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology Departments, tour our facilities, learn about research and internship opportunities, and see how our Academic Advising system is designed to support your professional goals. College of Health and Human Performance

You are about to embark on your ECU adventure! This exciting time is filled with many questions regarding your major, what to expect and where to go! On March 15, 2019, the College of Health and Human Performance is hosting "Helping Professions in HHP Admitted Student Day." This event is designed for you to tour ECU, explore dining on campus or in uptown Greenville, and in the afternoon dive deeper with your major. Academic areas included within the College of Health and Human Performance include: environmental health, public health, human development and family science, interior design, fashion merchandising, kinesiology, recreation and leisure studies, and social work. All majors in HHP are focused on helping others either through education, health, exercise, improved social conditions, and the environment in which we live. Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences

The Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences is home to the most diverse array of academic programs at ECU. Our disciplines investigate the natural world in a scientific setting, examine humanity's social, economic and political perspectives throughout time, and explore history's greatest literary, philosophical and religious ideas. Come to ECU to meet the students and faculty members engaged in the inquiries that examine the past and shape the future. Nursing

Can you guess what university trains the most nurses in North Carolina? Yep, it's ECU. Not only do we graduate more nurses than any other North Carolina university, we also offer opportunities to further your education all the way to the PhD level! If you aspire to join the over 8,500 nurses who got their start at ECU, we invite you to join us on April 5 for this special program just for admitted students. You'll have the opportunity to tour our facilities and meet with faculty and Academic Advisors to learn more about the courses you'll take and how you'll be advised and supported. You will also hear current ECU Nursing students share their experiences. Business

Discover how you can use a College of Business education to find a career that spans every job sector! Learn where you can use one of our five different concentrations found in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or one of the three concentrations found in the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management to become the next generation of professionals in your chosen career!
