We encourage you to complete your FAFSA by February 15th, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Download and submit your completed FAFSA form, and use ECU's FAFSA code: 002923.

❏ Social security number verification - The Internal Revenue Service requires East Carolina University to verify social security numbers (SSN) annually for accurate tax reporting on 1098-T forms. Failure to provide ECU with a SSN may result in the student being fined in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 6723.
Download the FAQ and follow the instructions to verify your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).
