Tutorial services are offered for students enrolled in English 1100 and 1200 in the First-Year Writing Studio. Studio consultants also offer workshops on a variety of writing topics in the first-year writing classroom as well as individual workshop sessions. Writing guides for student use are available on http://www.ecu.edu/first_year_studio/ and the Studio offers a library of style manuals, handbooks, textbooks, and writing guides which any student may use in-house.

The lab is staffed by graduate teaching assistants and offers Midi-keyboards, Macintosh computers with CD/DVD burning capabilities, a scanner, a projector, a laser printer, and an interactive class piano system. Up-to-date software for music composition/theory/ear training as well as other digital music needs are provided.
