2010-2011 Academic Advising Collaborative Training
Training meetings are scheduled approximately every three to four weeks during the fall and spring. Based on feedback, the training committee will be offering sessions on the following topics during the 2010-2011 academic year:
Strategies for Working with Large Advising Loads (September 1, 10:00-12:00 pm; 208 Rivers)
Working with DE Students (September 21, 1:00-3:00 pm; Global Classroom)
News from NACADA (October 12, 10:00-1:00 pm; 154 Rivers)
Retention Strategies (November 16, 10:00-12:00 pm; Mendenhall Student Center, room 244)
Engaging and Retaining Top Students (November 30; 10:00-11:30 am; Mendenhall Student Center, room 244)
