Vicim received minor injuries. The victim described the suspects as two black males, both approximately 6'2'' tall, one with short hair wearing a black rain coat, light colored blue jeans, and a red hat with a white letter "P".  The second suspect was reported to have a chubby build, long dreadlocks, dark colored jeans, and also wearing a red hat with a white letter "P".  One suspect was armed with a handgun.  Both ran in an unknown direction on foot.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greenville Police at 252-329-4315. Information can also be provided anonymously through the Pitt-Greenville Crime stoppers at 252-758-7777.  Students, Staff, and Faculty are encouraged not to walk alone at night and to walk in well lighted areas.  Report any suspicious or criminal activity as soon as possible.

Greenville PD reported 3 males fleeing the scene of the crime. Students, Staff, and Faculty are encouraged not to walk alone at night and to walk in well lighted areas.  Be aware of your surroundings to include the people that are around you as well.  Report any suspicious or criminal activity as soon as possible.</description></item><item><pubDate>Wed, 11 Jan 2012 04:34:17 EST</pubDate><title>Residental Burglary</title><link>http://www.ecu.edu/s/?id=468</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.ecu.edu/s/?id=468</guid><description>On Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at approximately 3:28 am, a white male subject, wearing khaki pants, entered into a residence located near the corner of East 5th Street and Rotary Street by pushing in an unsecured door.  Male suspect stepped just inside the door and was confronted by a resident, turned and ran away.  This residence was located adjacent to central campus on East 5th Street.  Nothing was taken during this incident and no injuries were reported.  There was a search conducted by Greenville Police Department and East Carolina University Police Department of the area, but no suspect was found in this incident.  

Students are reminded to make sure that residence doors are locked / secured properly and report any suspicious activity to the proper law enforcement agency.
