As loud as we are, clarinets usually are given accompaniment parts in our music which are high, fast, or both. The reason arrangers give us these parts is because nobody else would be able to play them. Our finger dexterity is unmatched by any other section in the band. If you are in doubt, listen for the clarinet parts in some of our songs.
