Luke Oglesby
Assistant Colorguard Instructor

Luke has been performing and teaching in the colorguard activity for seven years. He attended Croatan High School and was a member of the Croatan Marching Cougars all four years. He marched Croatan Winterguard for three years (2007-2009) and marched one season with the ECU Marching Pirates in 2010. Luke also marched Carolina Gold Drum and Bugle Corps in the summers of 2011 and 2012. He was colorguard captain of the 2012 season when the corps was first in "A class" at DCA Championships in Maryland. He just finished his fourth year marching for First Flight Winterguard (nationally recognized for making finals all four years in world class at WGI World Championships). His colorguard/winterguard teaching experience includes Northern Nash High School Bands for three years (2010-2013), New Bern High School Bands (2008), and assisting band camps for Cape Fear High School Bands, South Lenoir High School Bands, and Jefferson Forest High School Bands.

Luke just graduated from ECU (May 2013) with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He loves teaching colorguard and is excited to be able to provide talented individuals the opportunity to shine in front of a crowd.
