Michael Ball
Voice of the Marching Pirates
Michael is a sophomore mathematics
education student at ECU, originally from Newport, NC, and
is returning for his second year as “The Voice of the
Marching Pirates.” Michael is a North Carolina Teaching
Fellow at the university, pursuing a degree and licensure to
teach high school mathematics in North Carolina. His foot
in the door of the school of music is through vocal
performance as he was a member of ECU’s St. Cecilia
Singers. Like many staff members of the Marching Pirates,
Michael bleeds purple and gold and doesn’t go anywhere
without some sort of Pirate pride paraphernalia. GO
PIRATES! Arrrgh!
