Shawn, a native of Ohio/Pennsylvania, attended Ohio State University and then enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1998. After serving at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC until 2002, he moved to Greenville. He attended Martin Community College and earned his associate's degree. Currently he works fulltime as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville and is working toward his bachleor's degree in Health Management.

Shawn has worked with the Marching Pirates as our videographer since 2009. Although a true Buckeye fan, he has become a pirate fan and supporter.

He resides in Winterville with his wife Kristin Jeffries, ECU Dance Team Coach.
