Courtney Stearn
Feature Twirler
Courtney Stearn has been twirling baton for 20 years
starting at age five. She competed on the local, regional
and national level for 16 years winning several national
titles including College Miss Majorette of Virginia and
National 3-Baton Champion three years in a row. She
placed 11th in the National League Solo and top ten in the
Collegiate Championships. Courtney is also an ambassador for
baton twirling and has traveled seven times to the US Virgin
Islands to teach and perform. She recently obtained her
National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) Judging License. This is her seventh year twirling for the ECU Marching
Pirates. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in
Exercise Physiology in December 2007 and is currently
working on her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
