Bike Clinics

Parking & Transportation Services is proud to officer bicycle clinics on campus so that any ECU faculty, staff and/or student that has a bike can enjoy the benefits of services provided during onsite workshops to include: Brake adjustments, tire inspections, and lubrication of chains.

The workshops are normally held on Fridays from 10am to 12pm at the front of the Campus Recreation Center. On rainy days, the clinic will be held at the back of the Recreation Center at the loading dock. The fall workshops will run during the months of September - November and the spring workshops will run from March - May. These workshops are growing in popularity, so make sure you continue to check the event calendar as we may offer more workshops on other days for your convenience in the future! We might even go mobile!

During these workshops, your bike will be checked for adjustments with the brakes, given a thorough tire inspection, and ensured that your bike's chain is well lubricated - rust can really damage a bike let alone make it extremely dangerous for you to ride! If further repairs are needed that cannot be provided during the allotted times for the free campus clinics, then individuals can always make additional appointments with local shops we recommend that usually provide ECU folks with a nice discount. Applicable fees will apply for any additional appointments.
