Thank you for visiting the East Carolina University Board of Visitors website. This organization is comprised of a dedicated group of volunteers who advise and assist the Board of Trustees and the Chancellor with a range of issues that help advance our university.
Most importantly, though, the members of the Board of Visitors serve as key ambassadors for our university by taking the message and story of East Carolina University to their own community and region. This year, the ECU Board of Visitors has developed a strategic set of priorities which include university engagement, government relations, and fundraising. The board is appointed by the Board of Trustees and each member is eligible to serve two consecutive four year terms.
It is our ultimate goal to maintain and improve the excellence and effectiveness of East Carolina University, while simultaneously informing the university's leadership of the attitudes, beliefs, concerns, and expectations of the people of North Carolina with respect to ECU.
