Policy Statement 1: General Policies
It is the policy of the ECU Police Department to enforce federal, state and local statutes pertaining to criminal acts and the operation of motor vehicles on the campus consistently, fairly, and with respect for the constitutional rights of all citizens. The department is also required to insure compliance with any Federal, State, or local laws and regulations pertaining to the safety and welfare of those on the property of the University. The department is committed to providing an environment where community policing is embraced.
