Introduction Statement 1: University Property
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance - Business Services handles the following property
matters:
- All real property transactions, including leases for East Carolina University, recording and maintaining deeds and records, and serving as liaison among University, State and Local Leasing Agents
- Collecting property rents due the University and disbursing rents owed by the University, authorizing expenditures from these accounts, and maintaining
University rental properties
- Processing requests for leasehold improvements on properties leased by the
University, preparing specifications for need for space, securing necessary approvals and performing all related tasks associated with the occupancy of off-campus space
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance - Business Services reports to the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance. This office is located in Spilman, Room 116.
