Procedure Statement 4: Demographic Maintenance Transactions

Policy

All Borrower Demographic maintenance transactions should be processed as needed so that the borrower's file reflects the most current information available as accurately as possible.

  1. The Student Loans Office receives new non-monetary data for which the borrower's demographic file should be updated.

    1. Receives name and address corrections from mail, phone or by personal contact with the borrower.

    2. Receives new graduation date by phone or when coding disbursements for previous borrowers.
