North Carolina Correction Enterprises is a state agency that is also highly recommended for printing and duplicating needs if University Printing and Graphics cannot meet your requirements at the time. Bid procedures for printing with North Carolina Correction Enterprises also do not apply.
If University Printing and Graphics or North Carolina Correction Enterprises is not desired for printing and duplicating needs, then standard purchasing procedures are applied, which must be approved from Materials Management. Competition is not required for printing purchases under $2,500.00. Telephone/written quotations (minimum of three[3] can be obtained by the department and are mandatory for printing purchases from $2,500.00 to $5,000.00. Informal bids, which must be obtained by Materials Management, are required for printing purchases from $5,000.00 to $25,000.00. Formal bids are required for all printing and duplicating purchases above $25,000.00.
