Will computers be available for conference attendees to check e-mail?
Yes, e-mail stations will be set up outside of Capital Ballroom C in Heritage Hall.

What audio/visual (A/V) and technology support will be available for presenters?
All standard technology for conference sessions is listed below; we do not need to know what A/V or network connection you plan to use for your session. Please don't hesitate to contact Tom Irons, Jr. if you have any questions or if you have a request that is not covered below.
The following audio/visual equipment will be available:
  • One standing or tabletop podium with microphone
  • Projection screen and projector
  • Internet access (wireless and Ethernet)
Computers in meeting rooms will NOT be provided. Please bring your own computer and make sure it is equipped with a standard VGA output and that you know how to use a projector with it before arriving.

Internet Access
Wireless 802.11b access will be available for all presenters. The connection speed will be sufficient for accessing and navigating Web and/or e-mail pages. The SSID for access will be "cause".

One dedicated Ethernet line if your computers or equipment cannot use 802.11b wireless. In this case, your computer must have an Ethernet port. Network bandwidth is shared among all presenters and attendees, and is dependent upon the facility's network capacity. We cannot guarantee the necessary bandwidth for network-intensive applications.

Network Security
Please install up-to-date antivirus programs and operating system updates and patches on your machine before connecting to the conference network. This will help ensure that computer viruses do not spread across participants' machines and enable us to provide a more reliable, robust network.

Should presenters bring handouts for session attendees?
You are welcome to prepare a handout that summarizes your presentation and includes contact information, including the URL, if applicable. You may wish to bring business cards so that attendees can contact you after the conference. Please print copies of your presentation material for attendees prior to the conference; the Convention Center charges a fee for photocopying services.
