Home Economics and Family and Consumer Sciences Education: 100 Years at ECU

In 2012, East Carolina University will celebrate an exciting anniversary! Please SAVE THE DATE to celebrate “Home Economics and Family and Consumer Sciences Education: 100 Years at ECU” on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Sponsors are needed for this milestone event that will bring alumni and friends together and benefit today’s students.
April 21, 2012 Events:
2:00-3:00 pm: Registration at ECU’s Thomas W. Rivers Building, College of Human Ecology
3:00 p.m. – Ribbon cutting and Naming of the Nancy W. Darden Child Development Center
3:00-5:00 p.m. - Tour of the Rivers Building, Home Economics/FACS history exhibits, student poster presentations, campus tours, historical fashion displays, cooking demonstrations, light refreshments, and reconnecting with alumni and friends
6:00-7:00 p.m. - Cocktail Reception & Silent Auction at Greenville’s City Hotel & Bistro
7:00-10:00 p.m. - Dinner, Dance, and Keynote Speaker at Greenville’s City Hotel & Bistro
Keynote Speaker: Susan Shockey, President, American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences

Please help make the celebration all that it should be. Four levels of sponsorship are available. Sponsors will be recognized at the celebration.
Platinum Donor - $1,000.00 sponsorship includes six free tickets to the Reception/Dinner Dance
Gold Donor - $500.00 sponsorship includes four free tickets to the Reception/Dinner Dance
Silver Donor - $250.00 sponsorship includes two free tickets to the Reception/Dinner Dance
Bronze Donor - $150.00 sponsorship includes one free ticket to the Reception/Dinner Dance
Friend - $10-$150 – recognition at event
Please note that all donations are tax deductible. Sponsorship payments are tax deductible less the amount of the ticket(s). We sincerely thank you for your support.
