Courses Taught:
I teach a wide variety of courses in the department but the most common ones are: CDFR 3290: Theory and Practice in Family and Community Services, CDFR 4006: Families, Sexuality, & Gender Roles, CDFR 4366: Family Life Education, and CDFR 6420: Program Planning and Evaluation
Research and Personal Interests:
My research interests are focused on family life education and in particular parent education and sexuality education. My personal interests include reading, scrapbooking, running, yoga, and hanging out with my husband, 8-year old son, and my friends.
Education:
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education from the University of Maine, a Master’s degree and Doctorate in Child and Family Studies from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
