 Overview of Programs
Undergraduate Programs - The Department of Child Development and Family Relations offers four bachelor of science undergraduate programs. The four programs are Birth Through Kindergarten Teacher Education,Child Life, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, and Family and Community Services which has two options available, the Family Studies and the Early Intervention/Child Development option. Students can choose the "Degree in Three" track in Child Life and also in Family and Community Services. Students transferring from a community college with an AAS in Early Childhood will be interested in our degree completion options in birth through Kindergarten and Family and Community Services.
   
 

Graduate Programs - The Department of Child Development and Family Relations offers four graduate programs. The four programs that are offered are MAEd in Birth Through Kindergarten Education, MS in Child Developement and Family Relations, MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and MAEd in Family and Consumer Sciences.

 
  Doctoral Programs - The Department of Child Development and Family Relations offers a PhD in Medical Family Therapy.
   
  Minors, Concentrations, Certificates, and Licenses - The Department of Child Development and Family Relations offers a minor in Child Development and Family Relations, an Academic Concentration in Child Studies, alternative licensure in BK, the Birth-Kindergarten Add-on License, and a Preschool Add-On License.
