Jon Maskaly is an Instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice, College of Human Ecology, at East Carolina University. He is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminology at the University of South Florida and earned an M.A. from the University of Nevada-Reno and B.A. from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He has worked as a research assistant on the NIJ-funded National Police Research Platform project with policing scholars from around the United States. His research focuses on police-community relationships, geospatial analysis, and community crime.
