Jennifer Stein is a 2001 graduate of East Carolina University’s merchandising program and is the Director of Regional Support for the Jones Apparel Group Ladies Suit Division, which encompasses nationally recognized brands: Kasper, LeSuit, Suit Studio, Jones New York Suits, Anne Klein Suits, Nine West Suits, and Evan Picone Suits. In addition to managing the regional account team nationwide, Jennifer travels around the country and serves as liaison between major department stores, buying offices and the Jones Apparel Group Ladies Suit Division corporate office in New York City. Her responsibilities include creating product knowledge, assisting in executing merchandising directives, analyzing sales and stock, and training associates in major department stores.

Prior to becoming the Director of Regional Support, Jennifer was a Regional Account Manager for Jones Apparel Group Ladies Suit Division for the Southeast Region. Immediately after graduation Jennifer joined the Executive Training Program for Federated Department Stores in Atlanta, GA and worked in the buying office for Men’s Accessories and Young Men’s Street Wear.

Jennifer attributes a great deal of her success to her family; however she attributes the foundation for her success from the education she received while she attended East Carolina University. “The professors in the East Carolina University Department of Interior Design and Merchandising, concentrated on what was relevant in the current retail environment, fostered group thinking, and taught me presentation skills that I use everyday. The comprehensive knowledge of textiles, retail math and merchandising allowed me to enter the retail environment with a vast skill set that had prepared me to begin my career with confidence”.
