Welcome to the Department of Hospitality Management website. Our program, established in 1987, is now the largest hospitality department of its kind in North Carolina and one of the largest in the Southeastern United States. We offer a minor, an undergraduate degree with 3 distinct concentrations, and an MBA with the Hospitality Management Option in only five years. The undergraduate degree offers 3 different concentrations for students to choose from: food and beverage management, lodging management, and meeting and convention management.

Students experience a wide range of different experiences throughout their time in our program. Experiences may include (dependent upon program) an externship (sophomore year) and an internship (prior to senior year), basic and advanced food laboratories, numerous student organizations, field trips, just to name a few. Many of our Alumni have gone on to work for successful companies such as Sheraton, Aramark, Marriott, Hilton, and as well as becoming independent entrepreneurs.
