Greenville, NC—The Hospitality Management faculty of East Carolina University unanimously selected two outstanding students to participate in the Salute to Excellence 2008. This year’s honorees are Erin Catherine Gallagher, a senior from Charlestown, New Hampshire, and Kimberly Priesing, a senior from Havelock, NC. The Salute to Excellence Gala, held every year at the opening of the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant and Hotel-Motel Show and Exposition in Chicago, is slated for Saturday, May 17, at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. The day-long event honors the accomplishments of industry leaders along with two students from each of the 100 top hospitality colleges and universities in the country. This year marks the tenth consecutive year that ECU has been invited to participate in the celebration.
