The theme of the course(s) will be global and sustainable hospitality. The course will focus on planning and development decisions and operations of hospitality businesses in sustainable ways. The locations for the course will be split between Quito, Ecuador, the nation’s capital located in the Andes, and the Galapagos Islands where our partner university, the Universidad del San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) has campuses. We will fly into Quito and spend several days near the university (USFQ) campus and take several day trips to significant sites such as the Mitad del Mundo (the equator) and into the Andes, and then spend time in the Galapagos Islands.
