  • Carol M. Mabe, Merchandising Advisory Board Member, is honored as one of the “100 Incredible Women of ECU” at the ECU Women’s Roundtable event was held on October 17 of 2007. Click here for more information.

  • Fall 2007 Merchandising Advisory Board meeting was held on September 13 and over 100 students participated in the panel discussion.

 

  • Kelly G. Milam was the 2007-2008 Belk Scholarship recipient and Natalie E. Sessoms was the 2007-2008 Merchandising Alum and Friends Scholarship recipient.

 
  • April Taylor, an Apparel Merchandising major, interned at Textile Technology Clothing Corporation [TC]2 , this summer (2007). [TC] 2’s student internship is a highly acclaimed program for rising seniors in apparel and textile management programs at U.S. universities. Final selection of student interns for summer 2007 was made by the AAFA Human Resources Leadership Council. Interns received paid travel to Cary, NC, housing, and a stipend during the course of the eight-week internship.  (http://www.tc2.com/newsletter/2007/080107.html#ipr). April is currently pursuing MBA at East Carolina University.
