GREENVILLE, NC, USA -- Merchandising Program Receives Gift of Software
The Department of Interior Design and Merchandising at East Carolina University is proud to announce that ISIS.net/Koppermann has provided the department with 30 licenses of its Tex-Store™ application software. The application software, valued at $385,000, will be used by merchandising students beginning spring 2008 as an integrated planning and communication tool for visual presentation and merchandising of retail store environments. It supports the efforts of product managers, store planners, merchandisers, and store analysts to achieve increased sales and improve inventory management and turnover.
Merchandising faculty member, Marina Alexander, says, “We are delighted that students in visual merchandising classes will have the opportunity to become comfortable with this technology used by many big retailers today. It will allow students to arrange store interiors and merchandise via computer with incredible flexibility and choice. It will be a major advantage for students to know this technology when they enter the job market. We are most grateful to Michael DeMatteis, president of ISIS.net/Koppermann, for this gift.” Dr. Alexander and Dr. Katherine Carroll worked with Koppermann to facilitate the software donation.
Koppermann Computersystems is recognized worldwide as the leader in the development, marketing, and servicing of superior software solutions for the apparel and textile industries. Adidas, Jockey, Levi's, Target Corporation, Tommy Hilfiger, United Colors of Benetton, and Union Bay are but a few companies relying on ISIS.net/Koppermann for their design, merchandising, and retail needs. |
