Lucille W. Gorham Intergenerational Community Center

Accomplishments
Over 16,000 people have visited the Center since doors opened in 2007. Over $1.5 million in grants have been acquired from public and private donors. Half of staff have been hired from the community. Additionally, the center recently won the prestigious C. Peter Magrath University/Community Engagement Award, and $20,000 stipend, presented annually by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.

Dr. Lessie Bass, Founder of the Center, Associate Professor of Social Work
