Those students who minor in Forensic Science will spend time in the crime scene/forensic science lab. In this lab they will engage in various forms of criminal investigations where they will examine blood stains, weapons, fibers and other crime scene evidence. Throughout the semester students will study different practices and participate in different scenarios presented by their instructor in the lab. The lab is equipped with various investigative tools that are used in actual lab enforcement forensics labs. At the end of the minor in Forensics Science program, these tools are utilized in a realistic, mock crime scene (usually in an off-campus, residential neighborhood).
