Welcome to the Department of Criminal Justice! Students in our programs explore every facet of criminal justice which focuses on preventing crime and improving public safety in the U.S. and abroad. A degree in Criminal Justice prepares the student for advanced criminal justice or law studies or for work in local, state, and federal justice professions. Our graduates are employed by diverse organizations, such as the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Secret Service, Sheriff Department, Police Department, Forensic Crime Laboratory, Court System roles, just to name a few. Our department offers a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and two minor degrees--one in Criminal Justice and the other in Forensic Science.
