Application packets are available beginning in August from the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management. Minimum admission requirements to the Dietetic Internship Program include: (a) an Intent to Complete Degree Form or a DPD Verification Statement from your didactic program director; (b) a minimum GPA of 3.0 overall or 3.0 in the last 60 semester hours; and (c) a combined verbal and quantitative score greater than or equal to 850 on the Graduate Record Exam. 

By June, you must be admitted to East Carolina University as a non degree graduate student. A request to change to a degree program may be made upon completion of the dietetic internship for those wishing to continue in the master's program. 

All applicants must participate in the ADA computer matching process. Placement of computer matched students in facilities is determined by giving consideration to both student and facility preferences. The application deadline is February 15, 2007 for the August 2007 class.
