Courses Taught:
Nutrition Science (NUT 2105), Cultural foods (NUT 1010) and Community Nutrition (NUT 4500).
Research and Personal Interests: Interested in health promotion and disease prevention to assure a high quality of life in vulnerable populations, especially older adults and minority groups, with special focus on nutrition, general health, and well-being. Research activities focus on intervention research opportunities to promote optimal health in these populations and reduce health disparities, educating on healthy lifestyle and behavior change (improve nutrition and increase physical activity).
