Why did you choose ECU?
I chose ECU because although it’s a big college, it has a hometown feel. The program I wanted to major in was offered and visiting ECU, I could tell they really care about the students.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose criminal justice because it gave me an insight of how the CJ system works, which will aid me going into law school.
What would you tell potential students who are considering your major?
The department of criminal justice gives you a variety of classes to help you narrow down an area of CJ you would be interested in.
What other activities are you involved with at ECU (social clubs, student organizations, etc.) and/or the community?
I am involved in the Pre-Law Society and the Human Ecology Dean’s Student Council. I also volunteer at my church’s afterschool program.
What is your best ECU memory?
My best ECU memory is the moment I was accepted. It led to me meeting wonderful people and a lot of diversity, which was very beneficial.
How has your experience(s) at ECU changed you?
My experience at ECU has made me a more determined person to go after the things I want.
What are your future plans (grad school, job, travel, etc.)?
My future plans are to apply to the criminal justice graduate program or possibly law school.
What would be your dream job?
My dream job would be owning my own law firm and practicing family law.
