Welcome

The School of Social Work offers  Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (both are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education), two graduate certificates (Substance Abuse and Gerontology), and  School Social Work Licensure. Our programs creatively engage and challenge students in an educational process which prepares them for professional practice and leadership roles in the social work profession.  Required field/internship placements have led to permanent employment for many students.  Alumni hold clinical and administrative positions in both public and private health  and mental health settings,  schools, state and federal government structures, child and family agencies, substance abuse clinics, and agencies serving aging populations.
