The collaborative at East Carolina University began in 1999 as a part of a partnership with six other social work programs at state supported universities. Our mission is to change the North Carolina public child welfare system by educating and preparing MSW and BSW students to work in child welfare in local North Carolina County Departments of Social Services. This site is designed to provide information and instructions regarding our East Carolina Collaborative as well as the NC Child Welfare Initiative for current and prospective students. |
