National Association of Social Workers(NASW):

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 150,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.

Graduate Association of Social Workers (GASW)

The Graduate Association of Social Workers (GASW) was developed for graduate social work students to have a collective voice for student concerns, serve the community, organize educational, cultural, and political opportunities, support student initiatives of all forms, and foster a positive relationship between students, faculty, and staff. GASW provides students with an opportunity to network with their fellow students outside of the classroom and to come together to meet common goals. The organization also provides a mentoring program in which second year students are linked with first year students to help them through their first year of graduate school. GASW is open to all MSW students, staff, or faculty. Faculty Liaison is Dr Eastman.
