College of Human Ecology Student Resources

Student Services Center
The College of Human Ecology (CHE) Student Services Center is the first stop for students planning to major in one of the ten undergraduate programs offered in the College.  The Center is located on the first floor of the Rivers building in room 140. Students are advised, by a professional advisor, in the Center until they declare their major.  Students are informed of what courses they need to take, when they should take these courses, and much more. Once they declare their major, they move to a faculty advisor for assistance with their program of study.  As rising seniors, students return to the Student Services Center to prepare for graduation.

Computer Resources
The College has numerous computer resources that are accessible for students use and/or utilized for instructional purposes. The main computer lab for the college is located in Rivers 139. This lab has 30 computers, 2 laser printers, and an on-site lab assistant. The lab is generally open for student use during regular operating hours (8-5) throughout the week. Student may also access the Virtual Computer Lab (VCL). This allows individuals to access discipline specific software on their computer from home. Access to the VCL is limited to those courses or programs that require very specific software for certain academic programs.
