Winners Announced
The ECU Center for Health Sciences Communications announces the winners of the Health and Wellness Film Festival.
In first place is "My Heart Attack: View from the Gurney", a revealing first-person account of events surrounding a heart attack, submitted by Dr. Bill Price and the Emergency Medicine Department.
In Second Place, "Rocking Horse Ranch", about a not-for-profit organization founded by Eileen Van
Houten in 1991 that provides therapeutic and sports riding to children and
adults with a variety of physical, psychological, and cognitive
disabilities.
Third place is given to "My Skin's on Fire: Living with Psoriasis", a revealing account of the many trials but also hope for those who suffer this condition.
Cash prizes of $250, $100, and $50 will be awarded.
