Admin Menu

CommonSpot controls access to Administrator functions through roles and General Security permissions at the server, site, and subsite level.

The following menu options are available from the standard CommonSpot toolbar:

Server Administration - Available to server-level admins only. Navigates to the Server Administration Dashboard and displays the Server Admin menu for managing server-wide settings and creating and administering sites on that server.

Customer Administration - For most environments, accesses administrative functions for managing contributors. For environments licensed for hosting, manages customers associated with individual user database configurations.

Site Administration - Navigates to CommonSpot Site Administration Dashboard for controlling global settings for the current site.

Subsite Administration - Displays the Select Subsite dialog for creating, managing, and deleting subsites through the Subsite Administration Dashboard.

User Administration - Enables account management for individual users.

Group Administration - Account and membership management for groups.
