for Counseling & Student Development!

The Center for Counseling and Student Development is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS). Our programs and services are designed to contribute to the personal and academic development of all ECU students.

We are located on the first floor of Umstead Building, Room 137. Enter through the back entrance facing Slay Building, turn right and follow the signs to check in.

Eligibility
Counseling and Student Development Center services are available to all currently-enrolled ECU students. In addition, we provide consultation services for faculty & staff, parents, and students with regard to concerns about current ECU students.

The Center for Counseling and Student Development will be closed for regular appointments the week of May 7th-11th, 2012. Crisis phone services will be available on Monday, May 8th, and Thursday and Friday, May 10th and 11th, during regular office hours,accessible via ECU Police. Walk-in crisis services will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday during regular office hours. We will not have after hours phone crisis services during this week.

We will re-open on Monday, May 14th, at our new SUMMER location in Cotten Hall. Please contact our office with any questions.

IMPORTANT FOR SUMMER 2012

If you are not taking summer classes during either summer session but 
are interested in still receiving services from the Counseling Center 
or Student Health, you have the opportunity to purchase
the Student Health "Gold Card." Please visit the reception area
at Student Health for more information.
