DISTANCE EDUCATION HOW DO I ACCESS EMAIL, BLACKBOARD AND GET A STUDENT ID? Upon acceptance to ECU you will be given an email account. Blackboard Getting to know Blackboard (Login using Username: deuser Password: deuser) Select the My Courses tab at the top of the page, then select DE Orientation: Distance Education DE Student ID The Distance Education Student Card grants access to ECU libraries and computer labs. Please note that the distance education identification card will not provide access to the Student Recreation Center, Student Health Services, Athletic events and other activities available to campus students who pay additional university fees. The Distance Education Student Cards are valid for one semester and are mailed to your home address by request only, at the beginning of each semester.
