Hello, I’m Glen Gilbert, dean of the College of Health & Human Performance here at East Carolina University. The College of HHP offers programs in ten undergraduate areas, nine masters degree specialties and one doctoral program. These programs include undergraduate degrees in: Exercise and Sport Science, including Exercise Physiology, Health Education and Promotion, including Athletic Training and Environmental Health and Recreation and Leisure Studies, including Recreational Therapy. We offer the only graduate degrees in School Health Education and Recreational Therapy in the State of North Carolina and our PhD program in Bioenergetics is one of the top programs in the United States.

Students will study with some of the finest faculty in the country. We are committed to making the undergraduate program the best possible experience and you will find in most cases small class sizes taught by regular faculty members.
