College of Business
Hello. I’m Rick Niswander, dean of the College of Business at East Carolina University. The College of Business offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Decision Sciences (which is Management Information Systems and Operations Management), Finance, Management, and Marketing. We also offer a five year professional degree in accounting and offer a minor in Business. Individuals with these degrees are highly employable in a wide range of business careers including advertising and public relations, information technology, systems design, internal and external auditing, general management, banking, risk management, business consulting, quality control, and much, much more. Our graduates work for companies large and small in North Carolina, across the county, and around the world.

In order to enter the College of Business, a student must complete eight specified classes and meet certain minimum GPA requirements. The requirements for entry are listed in the College of Business section of the undergraduate catalog. Required courses for the business minor are also listed.
