Fall and Spring Semester Tutoring:

PTC Fall Tutoring Schedule

Tutoring by Appointment

Tutoring is available in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business courses, and Math 1065 by daytime appoinment.  Lead Tutors work with students at the PTC main office located in Joyner Library. Interested students can call 252-737-3009 or stop by the main office to make a tutoring appointment.

Tutoring Nights at Joyner Library

The PTC sponsors tutoring sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, from 6:30pm to 9pm, at the first floor of the Joyner Library.

  • Tutoring takes place on a walk-in basis.
  • Tutoring is FREE to all students.
  • Tutors will be available to help with the following subjects:
    • ACCT 2401*, 2521*
    • BIOL 1050, 1060, 1100, 1200, 2140
    • CHEM 0150, 1150, 1160, 1120, 1130
    • ECON 2113*, 2133*
    • FINA 2244*
    • Foreign Languages: Spanish*, German*, French*
    • GEOL 1500, 1550
    • HIST 1030, 1031, 1050, 1051
    • MATH 0045, 0001, 1065, 1066, 2283
    • PHYS 1250, 1260
    • POLS 1010
    • PSYC 1000
    • SOCI 2110

* Tutoring in these subjects is available one night a week, contact the PTC for more info: tutoring@ecu.edu

  • For tutoring in subjects not listed, students should contact the PTC, tutoring@ecu.edu, for a tutoring referral.
