Continuity of Instruction Plan

The Continuity of Instruction Plan is a report of recommendations for faculty in the event that a pandemic or other catastrophic event results in the official suspension of all activities including face-to-face classes on the East Carolina campus. DE Contingency Plan

This document is designed to help faculty prepare for potential problems and/or downtime, when Blackboard or other internet based course delivery systems are not available. Fostering Academic Integrity in Distance Education

Many Students at a Distance

ECU faculty are successfully teaching distance education classes with 75+ students! And they have lives beyond these classes. During the summer of 2009 we interviewed faculty teaching Many Students at a Distance to find out how they manage their classes; including: interaction, teaching tools and assessment.
