Think-In 2007: A Teaching with Technology ShowcaseThink-In 2007 will be held at the Mendenhall Student Center at East Carolina University on November 13th, 2007 from 10:00am-2:00pm. This event will showcase faculty and how they utilize technology to educate students in the classroom – in both face-to-face and distance education courses. Presentations will be made via “laptop” poster sessions and will include course demonstrations. We are excited to invite the North Carolina Eastern Region Community College faculty and staff to participate again this year. At last year’s event, we had great presentations and participation from the community college system. Just to give you an idea of some of the prior presentation titles: From Telephone to Blackboard: Virtual Patient Exercise (VPE) for Clinical Learning, Online Discussions – Making every Thread Count, Students as Content Producers: Integrating Student Research Podcasts into Moodle Hybrid Courses, and Enhancing Online Communities with Video “Virtual Classmates”. If you have questions about the Think-In, please contact Ginny Sconiers at sconiersg@ecu.edu. |
