CMS
Platform Project~ Thank You to
Participating Faculty
At
Academic Outreach, one of our major commitments is to
provide a feature rich and user-friendly course
management system (CMS) to support teaching and learning
for both on-campus and distance education students at
ECU. The objective of this CMS Platform project is to
conduct a formal analysis of three different CMS
platforms: Blackboard, Moodle, and
Sakai
. This Fall faculty participating in
the study taught a class using either Blackboard
7.2, Moodle or
Sakai
and by
the completion of the study they will have taught with
all three systems. Thank you to all of the
faculty that have taken the time to learn these new systems
and for sharing your feedback. The project
will continue through the Spring 2008 semester. We will
keep you informed as the project progresses. |
